Salon Littéraire – Voix de Femmes

Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Auditoriumwill host the “Women’s Voices Literary Show,” as part of the Africa in the Capital event.

In the 21st century, African literature appears to be essentially feminine, with the emergence of great novelists in all regions and languages of the continent who bear both the aspirations of women and their people.

This event will bring together Anglophone, Arabophone and Francophone novelists, for two or more discussions and readings.

The literary talk will take place on April 20, in Rabat.

TEDxINPT 2017

Forum GENI Enterprises INPT is organizingTEDxINPT 2017, under the theme “How to Turn Introspective Illusion into Inner Power,” with the aim to motivate students, open minds and introduce “creativity in all of its forms.”

Philosophers, politicians, sportsmen and artists will take the stage during the Ted talk to present projects that are both innovative and humanistic. The event will take place on April 20, at the Institut National des Postes et Telecommunications, in Rabat.

Fado Festival

Fado’s profoundly melancholic tunes will echo this week in the first ever Fado Festival.

For its first edition, the Fado Festival will introduce the history of the traditional Portuguese musical genre through concerts, films and conferences all taking place April 20 and 21 at the Portuguese Embassy in Rabat.

Mashrou Leila in Morocco

Mashrou' Leila to Perform in Rabat and Casablanca in April

After having performed at Visa for Music in Rabat in 2014, Mashrou ‘Leila will return to Morocco with two concerts. The Lebanese band will perform in Casablanca on Friday, April 21 and in Rabat on Saturday, April 22.

The alternative rock band will be on stage at the Renaissance café in Rabat and at the Studio of Living Arts in Casablanca. Both concerts are scheduled for 8 pm.

On Poetry and Tolerance

This event is a special occasion to read, share, and recite poetry with the aim of cultivating tolerance. On poetry and Tolerance is an event opento the community. Participants are invited to attend a reading by Jamal EddineBenhayoun.

The event will take place on April 18, at the Tangier American Legation Institute for Moroccan Studies in Tangier.

International Arab Women’s Forum

The Arab Women’s Forum, the AOB Group and the MEC Group in London invite you to the International Conference on Women’s Leadership to be held on Tuesday, April 18 at the Fes Marriott, Fes.

The event will include women entrepreneurs and leaders from major institutions in the Mena region, Morocco, Europe, Geneva, London and Paris. It promises to be an excellent opportunity for networking, rich and cross-cultural exchanges and a highlight for the promotion of Arab women.
