Video: Women Fight with Knives in Casablanca During Ramadan (Graphic Footage)

Rabat –  A shocking posted on Youtube shows women in a market in Lahraouyine, southern Casablanca, engaging in a brutal blade fight.

The footage is quite graphic, as the fighting women manage to hit each other with the deadly weapons.

The five-minute-long also shows men armed with blades rushing to scene. One of them hits another woman with his blade.

Moroccans generally refer to violent or angry behavior during Ramadan, when Muslims are expected to be on their best behavior, as “Tramdina”. The phenomenon is explained by some people’s inability to cope with deprivation of food, water and cigarettes, which results in wild reactions during daily interactions.
