Rabat – Moroccan rapper, Karim Kharbouch, commonly known as French Montana, has donated USD $100,000 to the Mama Hope Organization in Uganda.
After releasing a successful video for his new song, “Unforgettable,” filmed in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, and featuring Swae Lee, French Montana has donated $100,000 to expand the Suubi Health Care Center, in Uganda. Mama Hope is a global organization which seeks to raise awareness about health issues in Africa.
The viral video for his new single highlighted Uganda’s talented young dancers and has racked up more than 26,945,909 views so far.
During his stay in Uganda, the rapper visited the Suubi health center and met with the organization’s founders. Afterward, he decided to donate a large sum of the video clip’s proceeds in favor of the organization, with the aim of supporting the center.
French Montana has also issued a dance challenge. Titled #Unforgettabledancechallenge, it calls on people to participate in the charity activity. Proceeds from the video will go toward the construction of a maternity clinic in Uganda.
