Rabat – A Royal Air Maroc flight destined for Casablanca was evacuated before take off in Brussels Airport on Tuesday due to a false bomb threat.
Belgian federal police received information about a bomb threat and consequently delayed the plane’s departure for three hours. The police had to fully inspect the plane before it could leave for Casablanca, according to Het Niwsblad news outlet. An investigation found nothing suspicious on the plane.
The plane was scheduled to take off at 18:00 pm., but eventually took off at 21:00pm.
