Rabat – A thirty-year old Moroccan woman was raped by two men who also recorded the attack on a mobile phone in Viareggio, a seaside village in west Italy.
The woman was with her friend at the seaside, where she met the two attackers. The men invited them to go to their house and she accepted while her female friend refused to go.
According to Italian news platform, Il Tirreno , the attackers were in their twenties and threatened her with kitchen knives to comply with their orders. The woman said she was raped for the whole night.
The victim said she was released the following day when she convinced them that she would not tell authorities about what had happened. She also asked one of the attackers to accompany her to the train station and upon arrival, the woman started screaming and asking for help. A police officer at the station intervened and arrested the attacker.
Italian authorities then went to the house where the woman was raped and seized the knives and the attackers’ mobile phones, where they later found video proof of the attack.
