Rabat - Port authorities in the Tangier-Med have seized 200,000 tablets of MDMA, or ecstasy, following an accurate lead from Morocco’s Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
Rabat – Port authorities in the Tangier-Med have seized 200,000 tablets of MDMA, or ecstasy, following an accurate lead from Morocco’s Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
The DGST indicated in a press release that the investigation yielded the drug seizure hidden in the tires and the rear seats of a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Two people were in the vehicle: a man and woman, aged 40 and 30 years old, respectively.
The investigation is undergoing to determine the full circumstances of the operation and to arrest other accomplices, most likely in Europe.
