Rabat- King Mohammed VI is expected to chair a Council of Ministers tomorrow which will focus on a review of the 2019 budget draft law.
Before the Ministerial Council, Head of Government Saad Eddine El Othmani will chair a government council.
During the meeting, Morocco’s Minister of Economy and Finance Mohamed Benchaaboun is expected to give a presentation on Morocco’s draft budget law, reported local media.
The meeting will also discuss the African Union convention against corruption.
King Mohammed VI said in a message addressed to the 31st African Union Heads of State Summit in July that corruption may have serious effects on sustainable development goals.

He added that the fight against corruption can be applied through “coordination of experience and the pooling of expertise.”
He also recalled Morocco’s adoption of the National Strategy against Corruption in 2015 and the National Anti-Corruption Commission, which has been tasked with implementing the strategy.
