Rabat – A school bus crash killed one student and injured six others, turning a trip to school on Monday morning to horror and tragedy.
A 15-year-old girl died this morning after a school bus transporting school girls crashed and overturned along the road leading to Ibn Sina secondary school near Laghnimyine, a rural town in the Berrechid province of the Casablanca-Settat region.
The victim died on the spot. Six other students were injured and rushed to the local Razi Hospital.
The bus had experienced a sudden tire blowout, causing the accident, reported Moroccan state television Channel 2M.

The number of people who lost their lives in road accidents fell by 3 percent and the rate of serious injuries dropped by 4 percent between 2017 and 2018.
Of the 94,431 accidents registered in 2018, 3,030 were fatal.
