Bahrain maintains its traditional position of solidarity and support for Morocco’s position on the conflict.
Rabat – Bahrain Foreign Affairs Minister Khalid ben Ahmed al Khalifah reiterated his country’s support for Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara.
The minister arrived in Morocco today, Wednesday, January 22, to meet with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita in Rabat.
“Sahara is an integral part of Morocco,” the Bahraini minister told the press.
The official emphasized that his country maintains its support for Morocco’s “solid and clear” position regarding its territorial integrity.
“Morocco has always had a fraternal and sincere position of support for the Arab countries,” he affirmed.
The minister also spoke about Bahrain’s appreciation for Morocco’s historical role in preserving peace and stability in Africa.
