Rabat – Juventus are already shaping plans for the summer transfer window, with Moroccan international Brahim Diaz reported to be high on coach Luciano Spalletti’s shortlist.
Spalletti sees Diaz as a player who can add creativity, movement, and attacking options to Juventus’ frontline.
The Italian coach is said to admire the Real Madrid forward’s technical quality and personality, and believes he could strengthen the team’s attacking play, according to Sky Sport.
Any move, however, will not be straightforward. Diaz is preparing to represent Morocco at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and his performances on the global stage could affect both his market value and the level of interest from other clubs.
At the same time, the player is waiting to understand his role at Real Madrid before deciding on his future.
Reports suggest he wants clarity on how much space he will have in the team’s plans before considering a departure.
Diaz’s Real Madrid journey
Diaz joined Real Madrid from Manchester City in January 2019 as one of Europe’s most promising young attacking midfielders.
He later spent three seasons on loan at AC Milan between 2020 and 2023, where he matured into a more decisive player.
During his time in Serie A, he made 91 league appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 13 assists.
His spell at Milan gave him valuable experience in Italian football and made him a familiar profile for Serie A clubs.
Since returning to Madrid in July 2023, Diaz has become an important rotation option for the Spanish giants.
In La Liga, he has scored 13 goals and 14 assists in 103 appearances. His versatility allows him to play as a right winger, attacking midfielder, or even from the left side, making him a flexible option for any coach.
His current contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2027. That long‑term deal means Juventus would need to negotiate carefully with both the player and the Spanish club to secure his signature.
