Rabat – Moroccan kickboxer Badr Hari lost his Glory 78 fight against Arkadisuz Wrzosek. The Polish athlete knocked out Hari in the second round.
Hari was dominating the first round, with strong punches. The game experienced a turning point just seconds after the Polish kickboxer threw a kick towards Hari’s face to knock him out.
This is the fourth defeat for Hari.
In December 2020, Hari lost another Glory fight against Romanian rival Benjamin Adegbuyi. The Romanian athlete also finished the fight against Badr Hari with a knockout.
Hari also lost to Dutch glory champion Rico Verhoeven, known as the king of kickboxing, in 2016 and 2019.
Badr Hari’s dream tonight did not go as planned. Earlier this year, Hari promised his fans to return to the “throne.”
“Before putting words on my last fight, I needed to give my blood, sweat, and tears at the gym,” he said earlier this year.
He said that an athlete who wants to secure wins must also know how to “lose sometimes. This is sport.”
