Rabat – Bpifrance Inno Generation (BIG), one of the largest European conferences dedicated to entrepreneurs, launched on Thursday, October 7, in Paris, with a significant Moroccan representation.
The 7th iteration of the event takes place under the theme “Conquer to serve the future” in the French capital.
Morocco is represented by over 30 corporations spanning various sectors including insurance, technology, consulting, mining, construction, education or agriculture, marketing, food, IT and energy.
The event coincides with the Morocco-France Economic Days, scheduled for this Friday in Paris, at the initiative of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morocco (CFCIM) to foster business expansions in France, Europe, and Africa.
Mael M’baye, Bpifrance Regional Manager for North Africa in Casablanca, said that “the presence of the Moroccan delegation is an important moment to strengthen ties and partnerships between Moroccan and French companies.”
He added that Morocco is a “key partner” of Bpifrance, stressing that “the recent opening of the regional office in Casablanca attests to our desire to increase opportunities for collaboration and co-investment with Moroccan players.”
The conference’s workshops and roundtable discussions will focus on sectoral, functional and technological issues in Africa, such as energy, tourism, digital, Fintech, investment, sustainable city, blue growth and support.
Participants can engage in business discussion and exchange expertise, while building international interdisciplinary partnerships.
