Join on Telegram Rabat – Morocco’s Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) has won the prize of the best Moroccan bank in trade finance at the “2022 World’s Best Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance Providers” Awards.
Organized by the international magazine “Global Finance,” the award rewards banks that excel in foreign trade financing in their home countries.
Founded in 1987, Global Finance is a New York-based publishing company that regularly selects the most successful companies in the trade finance field among banks and other financial service providers worldwide.
The awards have become a marker of excellence for the global financial community.
“This trophy is the culmination of BCP Group’s constant efforts to improve its performance in trade finance,” BCP Group said in a statement.
The Moroccan bank has launched a vast program of transformation of the trade finance activity and implemented new technologies and innovative solutions aimed at expanding its service to improve customers’ experience.

The bank prides itself on being a major player in supporting Moroccan companies with a main focus in internationally developing its strategy to meet customers’ expectations.
“This award is an international recognition of BCP’s leading position on the market in terms of foreign trade finance,” said Kamal Mokdad, Managing Director of BCP.
Mokdad stressed that the award is an acknowledgement of BCP’s commitment to offering clients in various countries “innovative trade finance products and solutions driven by a technological and digital transformation that matches international trends.”
Banque Centrale Populaire is Morocco’s second-largest bank, reporting over $20 billion (MAD 180 billion) in revenue annually.
BCP also holds overseas offices in Spain, England, Germany, France, Gibraltar, the Netherlands, Canada, and Belgium.
