Palmeraie Holding has appointed Mohammed Lazaar, an engineer, as head of its industry and distribution department.
Lazaar’s task will be to consolidate the positioning of the group’s industry and distribution department. He will also work on the growth strategy of projects to accelerate Palmeraie Holding’s domestic and African development.
In its press release, the board of directors wrote that it chose Lazaar to ensure the continuity of the strategic development of the group that has been initiated in the past few years.
Lazaar held similar positions in several large national companies, including COSUMAR, specialized in the extraction, refining and distribution and export of sugar, and CMT, a Moroccan mining company.
Palmeraie Holding is a large multisectoral group in Morocco and Africa, working in industry and distribution for more than 45 years with its subsidiary Dolidol, a company manufacturing polyurethane foam and in bedding.
Palmeraie Holding started diversification of its activities in agriculture, mining, quarrying, and education.
