Morocco Confirms 7,756 New COVID-19 Cases, 18 Deaths in 24 Hours

Morocco’s Health Ministry recorded 7,756 new COVID-19 cases and 18 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

Morocco Confirms 7,756 New COVID-19 Cases, 18 Deaths in 24 Hours

Rabat -Morocco’s Health Ministry recorded 7,756 new COVID-19 cases and 18 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

The new daily data from the ministry reported 4,779 new recoveries. 

To date, the number of total COVID-19 cases reached 1,059,586, including 984,047 recoveries, and 15,012 deaths.

Active COVID-19 cases reached 60,527, including 506 patients in critical conditions.

With regards to the regional distribution of COVID-19 cases, Casablanca-Settat Kenitra reported 3,049 and 14 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Rabat-Sale-Kenitra reported 1,275 and one death, followed by Fez-Meknes 837, Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (736 cases), Marrakech-Safi (631 cases, two deaths), Beni Mellal Khenifra (332 cases).

Souss-Massa reported 306 cases,followed by  Draa Tafilalet (217 cases, one death), the Oriental (183 cases), Guelmim Oued-Noun (107 cases), Laayoune Sakia El Hamra (58 cases), Dakhla Oued Eddahab (25 cases).
