Rabat – Royal Mansour Marrakech announced yesterday that its staff member Hajar Jeljalane is set to compete in the upcoming “2022 World’s Best Receptionist” contest.

Hajar Jeljalane, a Front desk Ambassador at the Royal Mansour, won the bid to compete alongside 43 other candidates from around the world in the international competition scheduled on  23rd of April 2022 in Baden-Baden, Germany.

Founded by the international association of Front Office and Hotel Managers (AICR), the Wild Card competition is an annual competition aiming to support participants and showcase their countries.

The competition’s founding association is currently present in 18 countries including Morocco, with an ever-expanding footprint worldwide.

The AICR’s objective is to encourage best practices in the hospitality industry as well as to promote professionalism as only staff from 4-star and 5-star hotels are eligible to compete.

The world-grade Mansour Marrakech is a luxury hotel located in the heart of Marrakech’s ancient city. The luxury resort incorporates 53 private riads, three restaurants, and a 2,500 square-meter spa.

The luxury resort is one of the most popular attractions in Marrakech. The hotel was crowned the second-best hotel in North Africa in 2021 by Travel+Leisure.

In recent years, Royal Mansour won many titles and awards. The American prestigious magazine Conde Nast Traveler ranked it the best hotel in Africa and the sixth worldwide.

Prior to holding the title for the world’s best hotel, Royal Mansour made to Forbes list of 58 most luxurious hotels in 2018, based on the extravagant service it offers, as well as its privacy, and comfort.

Marrakech is home to many world-class lavish hotels. Morocco’s Mamounia hotel became the world’s best hotel in 2021 according to the same magazine.
