Rabat – The Israeli Minister of Tourism, Yoel Razvozov, expects an unprecedented number of Israeli tourists to visit Morocco this year, because of cooperation on tourism between the two countries, Alquds Journal reported on Thursday.
Razvozov plans to visit the North African country to meet with his Moroccan counterpart in order to discuss ways to enhance tourism between the two countries, the newspaper reported. It did not specify when he would visit.

The minister said that Israel’s tourism sector provides many economic opportunities.
Razvozov participated in a business webinar between Morocco and Israel on March 22 this year, aimed at deepening the cooperation between the two countries in the sector.
Former Moroccan Minister of Tourism Nadia Fettah Alaoui said in 2020 that the country could see up to 200,000 Israeli tourists per year.
