Casablanca – Morocco’s national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced an exceptional flight program to Doha for the Qatar 2022 Football World Cup, from November 20 to December 4.

In partnership with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and the Ministry of Sport, Royal Air Maroc will offer 3,000 airline tickets at a subsidized fixed price of MAD 5,000 ($452.3) round trip.

The deal, which is intended exclusively for match ticket holders, will be available for sale in the coming days on the Royal Air Maroc website and sale points.

According to Royal Air Maroc’s press release, the flights will be operated by long-haul Dreamliner aircraft, the Boeing 787-8, and the Boeing 787-9, with capacities of 274 and 302 seats, respectively.

To make attending the match more convenient, Qatar will not require vaccination against COVID-19 for fans attending the 2022 World Cup. They will only be required to present a negative test.

“People arriving in Qatar are not required to undergo quarantine, regardless of their vaccination status or country of origin,” the organizers said in a statement.

All visitors aged six years and older must submit a negative result for a PCR test fewer than 48 hours before the departure time, and less than 24 hours for an antigen test, the statement added.

Qatar, which has a population of 2.8 million people, expects to host around 1.2 million World Cup fans between November 20 and December 18.

Morocco is in Group F of this year’s World Cup, along with Canada, Croatia, and Belgium.
