Rabat – Morocco is participating in the World Health Summit held this year under the theme “Making the Choice for Health” in Berlin from October 16 to 18.
A delegation from the Ministry of Health, led by its Secretary General Abdelkrim Meziane Belfkih, is representing Morocco at the event, which is co-sponsored by Germany, France, and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Many heads of state and governments, ministers, scientists, and representatives of the private sector and the civil society are participating in the Summit, all aiming to strengthen collaboration and open dialogue guided by science, and to recognize global health as a key political issue.
The event is also meant to encourage debate on global health in the spirit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals.”
