Rabat – After reinstating the official Twitter account for former US President Donald Trump, Twitter’s new CEO, Elon Musk makes yet another controversial decision by reinstating the account of Andrew Tate, a former kickboxer who was banned from the platform.
Tate was banned from Twitter in 2017. His account was reinstated on November 17, putting Elon Musk at the center of an internet-wide backlash.
In a show of appreciation for Musk’s handling of Twitter, Tate tweeted a video of him on board a private plane wearing his signature dark glasses, smoking a cigar, and drinking.
The video was captioned “I’ve decided to fly to the failed state of California, walk into twitter HQ and tell @elonmusk he’s a legend. On my way.”
