Rabat – Germany’s national team is set to lock horns with Japan’s Samurai Blue as part of Matchday 4 of the World Cup’s group stage in Qatar.
The game will kick off today at 14:00 Moroccan time at the Khalifa International Stadium. The match will be broadcast on BeIN sports channels, and several streaming websites, including fuboTV.
Germany will start today’s match as one of the fans’ favorite teams to progress in the global tournament. Data from the Opta Analyst showed that predictions are in favor of Germany, with a 65.4% prediction that they will win the game.
The 2022 World Cup marks Germany’s 20th appearance in the global tournament. The team has won the World Cup title on four occasions, 1945, 1974, 1990, and 2014.
However, the previous edition of the World Cup in 2018 marked a poor performance from Germany’s national team, who did not manage to progress beyond the group stage.

Meanwhile, Japan has qualified for the World Cup a total of seven times, including the 2018 World Cup during which they successfully reached the round of 16.
FIFA’s latest global football ranking placed Germany as the 11th-best team worldwide, meanwhile, Japan ranked as the 24th-best team.
The World Cup draw placed both teams in Group E, alongside Spain and Costa Rica.
The match fixtures are as follows, Germany will face Spain on November 27 and Costa Rica on December 1. Meanwhile, Japan is set to play against Costa Rica on November 27 and Spain on December 1.
