Rabat- Morocco’s Atlas Lions started their training session ahead of their upcoming game against Canada on December 1. Hopes are high for the Atlas Lions who put on an impressive performance and defeated top-ranking European team Belgium 2-0 in Group F of the Qatar World Cup 2022.

On their official Twitter account, the Moroccan national football team shared images of Moroccan players during their training session, including Jabrane Yahya, Anass Zaroury, and Achraf Dari among others.

Morocco’s national football team is now topping the Group F list in second place with four points. On Sunday, Morocco defeated Belgium with an outstanding performance that garnered international attention and was hailed as “historic.”

Prior to their victory over Belgium, Morocco faced Croatia on November 20 and drew 0-0. Both teams received one point each based on the outcome of the game.

Morocco’s national team coach, Walid Regragui, has urged Moroccan football fans to remain optimistic about the capabilities of the Atlas Lions.

Following their 2-0 win over Belgium, Regragui expressed his satisfaction with the Atlas Lions’ performance, saying that football is “all about efficiency.”

“Today, the players ran too much, [and] put in a lot of effort. But we haven’t accomplished anything yet,” the coach said.

Regragui stressed that the Atlas Lions must continue to demonstrate efficiency and effort in their upcoming game against Canada on December 1.

The Atlas Lions, according to Sports Mole predictions, have a chance to extend their stay in Qatar beyond the group stages after they face Canada in the World Cup Group F match on Thursday at the Al Thumama Stadium.

According to the same source, even though Canada has already been eliminated, the outcome of this match could have significant consequences for the North African team.
