Making history accessible
Over the past six years, the Aji Tafham channel has sought to address current affairs and social issues while offering a documented and easily accessible explanation. The new series is in line with the same vision and aims to present more than 27 centuries of history in a simple and entertaining way.
The series will also “address the major conflicts and internal divisions that led to the current political situation in the region.” The scientific, technical and artistic team relied on a range of documents and archives (photos, texts and manuscripts, coins, drawings) to provide an academic and unbiased analysis for the general public.
Additionally, the series will be translated into classical Arabic, French, English and Spanish for a wider reach.
In-depth interpretations
The series’ production coincides with the recent media frenzy and the heated discussions around the dispute between Morocco and Algeria. As a result, it seeks to share with the general public a documented and in-depth analysis regarding the issues between Morocco and its eastern neighbor.
The new series was created by a team of more than 40 people from various fields such as research, animation, and drawing. Among those involved were Artcoustic Studios, students from the “Flow Motion School,” and Dr. Nabil Mouline, Historian Researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research, CNRS-France, who oversaw the project’s scientific and technical aspects.
