Rabat – Morocco’s Football Federation FRMF is giving away 13,000 free tickets for more fans of the Moroccan Atlas Lions fans to attend the much-anticipated Morocco-France semi-final match on Wednesday.

Spanish news outlet La Marca reported on long queues outside Qatar’s Al-Janoub stadium in the early hours of December 13, with many lining up in the hopes of grabbing a free seat to the all-important game.

The upcoming match kicks off on December 14 at 8:00 pm Moroccan time at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.

Morocco has been splashed all over the headlines as it continues to gather international support for its outstanding performances in Qatar.

With fans celebrating in style the impressive Moroccan team in Morocco, across Africa, around the Arab world, and far beyond, it has been impossible for the joy and buzz to go unnoticed after each of the Atlas Lions’ wins.

The Moroccan Lions have managed to claim four victories in Qatar, making Morocco the first-ever Arab and African nation to make it to the semi-finals in World Cup history.

But Moroccan coach Walid Regragui is not satisfied with his team’s historic qualification for the last 4 of the FIFA World Cup.

The Moroccan tactician, who has been celebrated worldwide for his team’s tactical intelligence and defensive solidity, has said he is determined to win the World Cup now that it is within the Atlas Lion’s grasp.  “We want to make history for Morocco, for Africa, and for the Maghreb,” he said today at the pre-match press conference.
