Join on Telegram Rabat- After visiting New York, Achraf Hakimi and Kylian Mbappe, close friends and teammates for French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) were seen in Morocco’s red city of Marrakech.
Sports news outlet SOCCER212, tweeted “The two brothers Hakimi and Mbappe are in Morocco! They are currently in Marrakech.”
The same Tweet wrote: “Hakimi is expected to visit his hometown [Ksar el-kebir] to receive a celebration for his World Cup achievements.”

The two PSG stars’ friendship and visible fondness which has drawn a lot of media attention in recent months.
Pictures and videos of the duo in Marrakech have gone viral on social media.
Official fan page PSG Maroc shared a video in which Mbappe and Hakimi were seen in a restaurant.

Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk a Spanish-Tunisian actress, is also in Marrakech. The actress shared multiple pictures of her and her son visiting multiple places in the red city.
The actress posted the pictures on Instagram with the caption, “An unforgettable Sunday in an unforgettable place. We love you Marrakech.”

PSG’s head coach Christophe Galtier announced Mbappe and Hakimi are taking time off following their 2022 World Cup efforts.
Prior to their visit to Marrakech earlier this month, the PSG duo visited Midtown Manhattan in New York City and were spotted attending a dance show in Times Square.
They also attended an NBA match between Brooklyn Nets and San Antonio Spurs at the Barclays Center Stadium in Brooklyn.
The PSG duo met the famous NBA player Kevin Durant during the game. Durant gave the PSG duo a jersey, and the three men posed for photos that have since gone viral.
Hakimi and Mbappe have been close friends since the Moroccan right-back joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2021.
