Rabat – Spanish Club Real Madrid is set to face off against Saudi club Al Hilal today at 20:00 local time in Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, as part of the final of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.

It can be live streamed in certain regions on FIFA+ as well as on fuboTV.

Prior to their qualification to the tournament’s finals, Real Madrid defeated Egyptian club Al Ahly 4-1 on February 8. The Spanish club is attempting to win their eighth tournament trophy. Real Madrid has won seven world titles, including four Club World Cups (2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018) and three Intercontinental Cups (1960, 1998, and 2002).

Meanwhile, the Saudi Club claimed two impressive victories — beating Morocco’s Wydad AC 5-3 in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw, and stunning Brazil’s Flamengo with a thrilling 3-2 win.

Al Hilal is the first Asian team to reach the championship game since the Emirati club Al-Ain in 2018, as well as the first Saudi team to make it to the finals.

Although many online match previews indicate that Real Madrid is the favorite to win today’s final, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expects a tough game against the Saudi club.

“Football’s changing because there are a lot of teams all over the world that can compete, fight and win,” Ancelotti said, adding that his team will not underestimate Al Hilal.

“We’re up against a team that won the semi-final by playing well and deserved to be in the final. We have to respect this team. They’ve got good players and play well collectively. They’ll be excited to play in the final and so will we,” Ancelotti said of the Saudi club.
