Rabat – Air Arabia is set to launch a new route connecting Fez to Nice, France, starting June 24.
The airline will operate the flights twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The carrier explained that the new air route is part of Air Arabia’s commitment to “providing affordable and comfortable flights to its passengers while allowing them to discover two iconic cities.”
Air Arabia also recalled Fez tourism assets, stressing that the spiritual capital of Morocco is “world famous for its traditional architecture.”
The carrier also recalled the city’s status, emphasizing that its medina is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Air Arabia concluded its statement by informing its customers that tickets for the new air route are already available for sale on the company’s websites as well as travel agencies.
According to UNESCO, the old city of Fez bears a “living witness to a flourishing city of the eastern Mediterranean having exercised considerable influence mainly from the 12th to the 15th centuries.”
The UNESCO website also hailed the city’s architecture and arts, making the city as the country’s cultural and spiritual center.
