Rabat – Morocco’s international football star Sofyan Amrabat is considering other clubs amid inaction from FC Barcelona to pitch an offer to the Atlas Lion.

According to sports news outlet Mundo Deortivo, Barcelona’s indecision to secure a deal with the football player may reportedly make Amrabat consider other clubs.

“And it is that in addition to Barca, teams like Bayern, Tottenham, or Atletico de Madrid also want him,” the sports news outlet added.

Sources close to Amrabat told Mundo Deportivo that there is no news from Barcelona yet.

“There are other clubs placed” to sign the Atlas Lion.

According to football news outlet Liverpool World, Liverpool is also bidding an offer to sign a deal with Amrabat.

“Liverpool and Spurs are both keen on Amrabat and have been monitoring his situation,” the news outlet added.

Amrabat now plays for Italian football club Fiorentina. The Atlas Lion, however, is seeking a transfer during the summer window.

Earlier this week, reports suggested that Fiorentina is expected to lower the transfer fee for the Moroccan midfielder.

The Italian club set the football player’s departure at €30 million but it is set to lower it.

Football Espana, another news outlet, suggested that the decision comes after Fiorentian’s failure to secure European qualification for the 2023-2024 season as well as Amrabat’s plans to exit the Italian club following his contract’s end.
