Rabat – Hakim Ziyech’s summer transfer saga continues as many reports said that the Atlas Lion is now under the radar of Italian club Napoli.
Sports news outlet Tribal Football quoted transfer journalist Ekrem Konur who said that Napoli is setting sights on Ziyech.
The sports journalist added that Napoli might draft its offer to Ziyech this week.
Journalist Rudy Galetti also tweeted on Napoli’s interest in Ziyech, stressing that Italian clubs are monitoring several football players, including the Moroccan international.
He added that Ziyech is seeking an exit from his current club Chelsea at “any cost.”
Recent reports suggested that Chelsea is now seeking to speed up Ziyech’s transfer to a new club as it has already informed the Atlas Lion that he will not be part of the pre-season training campaign with the Blues.
Ziyech’s future remains unclear as his much-anticipated transfer to Saudi club Al Nassr collapsed.
Some reports claimed the transfer to the Saudi Arabia league failed due to an alleged knee injury that the Atlas Lion is suffering from.
Sports journalist Falah Al Qahtani however denied the news stressing that the Atlas lion did not undergo a medical examination with Al Nassr.
“Al Nassr asked him (Ziyech) to come to Madrid for the examination in the presence of the club doctor, and the player refused and insisted that the examination should be done in Morocco,” the journalist added.
