Rabat – Morocco has shattered the world record in the 400 meters T47 category at the highly anticipated World Para Athletics Championship held in Paris. This remarkable feat occurred during the ongoing competition, which commenced on July 8 and is set to conclude on July 17.

The T47 category is specifically for athletes with upper limb impairments, who compete with prosthetic limbs or missing limbs. Their incredible abilities have been showcased throughout the championships, captivating audiences from around the globe.

Morocco’s extraordinary achievements came courtesy of exceptional Moroccan athletes whose names will be forever etched  in the annals of Para-athletics history. They sprained their way to victory in an exhilarating display of speed and determination, obliterating the previous world record and leaving spectators in awe. 

The previous record in the 400 meters T47 category stood at an impressive time of 47.46 seconds, set by Britain’s Marcel Hug in Dubai. However, Morocco’s exceptional representative crossed the finish line in an astonishing time that bettered the existing record.
