Rabat – Amid reports of potential parting of ways between FC Barcelona and their Moroccan winger Abde Ezzalzouli, the English club Aston Villa is said to have made a bid of 40 million Euros to sign the Moroccan player.
With many teams interested in signing Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Aston Villa’s offer is considered to be the most tempting for Morocco’s U23 captain. The idea is that such a big offer demonstrates the English Premier League club’s keenness to sign the player.
FC Barcelona is currently facing a difficult financial situation. With such an offer, the club will be able to sign new players and register some of its remaining players.
From the player’s perspective, there is a high chance of leaving the Catalan club despite having delivered astonishing performances when coming from the bench.
Abde knows that with so many top-tier attackers in the Blaugrana, it will be hard for him to get more playing time. This means the player’s desire for more minutes on the pitch could prompt a potential move to another club where he will have more playing time to demonstrate his skills.
With other teams such as Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis, and Girona having expressed their eagerness to secure the services of Ezzalzouli, the Moroccan player is widely expected to leave Barcelona by the closure of the 2023 summer transfer window on September 1.
