Rabat – Sofiane Rahimi, a Moroccan international playing for the Emirati team Al Ain Club, has been nominated for the prestigious Best Goal Award by the UAE Pro League. The nomination comes in recognition of his remarkable goal during the 2022/2023 sports season, igniting excitement among fans and pundits alike.

Sofiane Rahimi, a former standout at Raja Sports, has been making waves in the UAE Pro League with his impressive performances on the field. The defining moment that caught the attention of the UAE Pro League committee was his incredible goal against Al Dhafra, a testament to his exceptional abilities as a footballer.

The goal in question was a masterpiece of precision and power, with Rahimi unleashing a thunderous strike from outside the box. The sheer velocity and accuracy of the shot left spectators in awe and opponents helpless.

The match, which took place on February 5, 2023, marked the 15th round of the UAE Professional League and saw Al Ain emerge victorious with a commanding score of “4/1.” However, it was Rahimi’s goal that stole the show and etched his name into the annals of UAE football history.
