Rabat – OCP Maintenance Solutions, a subsidiary of the OCP Group, has introduced new drone technology to its services, with the aim of revolutionizing and digitizing industrial maintenance.
The acquisition of the drone technology represents a “significant leap” for the company and the industrial landscape in Morocco, said OCP Maintenance Solutions in a press release.
Equipped with advanced thermal and infrared cameras, the drone sets a “standard of excellence for industrial inspection,” enabling rapid detection of leaks and anomalies on structures, and streamlining maintenance procedures, added the statement.
“This technological gem is adept at inspecting a range of infrastructures, including power lines, photovoltaic panels, pipelines, tanks, and chimneys,” the subsidiary indicated.
The emphasis on safety is a key feature of this innovative drone. The technology enhances safety protocols by eliminating the need for personnel to operate in hazardous or confined spaces.

With a 160x zoom capability, the drone provides “crystal-clear” visuals even from significant altitudes or remote hazardous locations, ensuring heightened safety in potentially dangerous areas, added the statement.
OCP Maintenance Solutions said its teams underwent “rigorous” training and achieved drone pilot certification to ensure the optimal and compliant deployment of the technology.

The drone technology has so far been deployed at two of OCP’s sites in Safi and Jorf Lasfar.
In addition, the inspection tool has been made available to Moroccan manufacturers, ensuring industries in Morocco and beyond have access to the latest technological advances.
This reflects OCP Maintenance Solutions’ “commitment to raising industry standards across the nation” and building its reputation as a key “innovator” and driver of growth, concluded the statement.
