Marrakech – Moroccan boxing Khadija Al Mardi (75 kg) has punched her ticket to the highly anticipated Paris 2024 Olympics. The world champion showcased her immense skill and determination as she triumphed over Kenya’s Andigo Elizabeth Adeambo in the final of the African Olympic qualifiers, clinching victory with an impressive 5-0 scoreline.

The electrifying showdown took place at the Dakar Arena in Diamniadio, located just 30 kilometers from the Senegalese capital. Khadija Al-Mardi’s gold medal-winning performance in this qualification tournament has solidified her place in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In a thrilling battle that had the crowd on the edge of their seats, Khadija Al Mardi displayed her technical prowess and unwavering determination, leaving no room for her opponent to make a breakthrough and securing the judges’ unanimous decision in her favor.

This victory marks a significant milestone in Khadija Al-Mardi’s illustrious career and underscores her status as a dominant force in women’s boxing. Her journey to the Olympics has been nothing short of remarkable, and her fans are eagerly anticipating her performance on the big stage in Paris.

The African Olympic Boxing Qualifiers brought together boxers from 43 countries, with Morocco being represented by a strong contingent of 13 boxers. Khadija Al-Mardi’s remarkable victory has not only secured her place at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but also served as an inspiration to aspiring boxers across Morocco.
