Rabat – As Israel’s shelling of Palestine continues, the death toll in Palestine reached over 2,450, with 9,200 injured, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced.
“The ongoing Israeli offensive has brought immense suffering to the Palestinian population especially in the Gaza Strip, with casualties, particularly among innocent children and healthcare workers,” Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Hamas’ Qassam Brigades said earlier today that it fired 20 rockets from Lebanon on two Israeli settlements.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah also said it targeted barracks in Israel’s Hanita with guided missiles, adding that it inflicted casualties on “enemy ranks”
Reports indicate that Israel continues to shower the Gaza Strip with rockets. Israel also informed the UN that the entire population in northern Gaza “should evacuate south almost immediately,” CBS News reported.
The Palestinian news agency reported that Israeli settlers are staging destructive raids targeting civilians and their belongings in the occupied West Bank.
The settlers have demolished two agricultural rooms, tearing down a wall and uprooting fruitful trees.
Meanwhile, more than 1,400 have been reported as killed in Israel following Hamas’ attacks on Israel, the government announced.
“Over 1,400 were killed (and) over 120 Israelis were abducted by Hamas terrorists,” Israeli PM spokeswoman Tal Heinrich said.
