Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology announced today that a cold wave is expected to hit several provinces across Morocco next week.
The weather alert said that the temperatures will range from -6 degrees Celsius to 1 degree, starting tomorrow.
The cold weather will particularly concern the provinces of Ifrane, Bouleman, Tinghir, and Midelt.
The four provinces will experience minimum temperatures ranging from -6 to 0 degrees, while maximum temperatures will range between 2 and 6 degrees.
Jerada, Taourirt, and Figuig will experience minimum temperatures ranging from -3 degrees to 1 degree. Maximum temperatures, meanwhile, will range between 6 and 10 degrees.
Several provinces across Morocco are already witnessing cold weather, including Rabat, Casablanca, and their vicinities.
