Rabat – Al Jazeera journalist Wael al-Dahdouh sustained an injury in his hand in an Israeli missile attack, according to Al Jazeera.
The aggression against the renowned journalist took place today while he was covering the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on a UN-run school in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Samer Abu Daqqa, another Al Jazeera journalist, also sustained an injury in the bloody Israeli attack.
The attack comes months following the Israeli occupation forces’ killing of al-Dahdouh‘s wife, daughter and son. Dahdouh is Al Jazeera’s bureau chief in Gaza.
At least 33 people were killed during strikes on the UN-run school in Khan Younis and homes in southern Gaza.
The school attacked by Israeli occupation forces is one the humanitarian facilities sheltering displaced Palestinians.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli artillery targeted several neighborhoods in Khan younis throughout Thursday night and into the early hours of Friday.
Israel’s disastrous and bloody war in Gaza has to date killed at least 18,787 people and left approximately 50,9000 more wounded.
The death toll and number of injuries are set to rise amid Israeli continuous bloody war targeting civilians, including children and women.
