Achraf Hakimi’s Paris Saint Germain teammates have been fascinated by the Atlas Lion performances, including his appearance against Toulouse on Tuesday.

The Moroccan right-back’s performance on Tuesday made him earn respect from several of his colleagues, including Brazil’s Marquinhos and French football player Ousmane Dembele.

Marquinhos emphasized Hakimi’s talent, saying: “With the talent he possesses, he can do anything.”

The Brazilian defender also appeared to wish good luck to Hakimi as the right-back joins the Atlas Lions group that will soon fly to Cote d’Ivoire to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations.

“He wanted to participate in the AFCON in the best way, and now he has the opportunity. We are delighted to have him with us because he is a very important player for our team,” Marquinhos said.

Former Barcelona player Dembele also stressed the importance of Hakimi for PSG.

“Hakim will be missed,” he said, noting that the Moroccan right-back is a key element for PSG. “And I hope he goes as far as possible with Morocco,” Dembele added.

Hakimi is traveling with Morocco’s Atlas Lions later this week to Cote d’Ivoire to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Hakimi leaves his PSG teammates and observers of both France’s Ligue 1 and the European Champions League with a lot to say about his impressive form and game-winning performances since the start of the ongoing season.

In December, Football news outlet Foot Mercato named Hakimi as one of the fastest players in the Champions League for 2023, with a record of 35.4 kilometers per hour.

In the same month, Hakimi was also selected from the French Ligue’s 1st mid-season Best Eleven Team.

Hakimi featured alongside six of his teammates including Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, and Lucas Hernandez in the French league’s Best XI.
