Rabat – Cape Verde and South Africa will take on a new adventure as part of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The two teams will face each other on Saturday at 9 p.m. Moroccan time as part of the quarter finals of the continental tournament. The game will take place at the Charles Konan Banny de Yamoussoukro stadium, in the Cote d’Ivoire. 

South Africa secured a spot in the quarterfinals following their win against Morocco’s Atlas Lions on Tuesday this week. The win sent the Atlas Lions home despite fans and observers’ expectations, viewing them as the winner of the AFCON trophy this year.

South Africa’s quarterfinals game against Cape Verde can be streamed throughbeIN Sports, CRTV, Canal+,SuperSport, AfroSport TV, KBC, Channel 1, Startimes Sports, Sky Sports, BBC, as well as SportsMax, and YTV.

Prediction website see Cape Verde having a 37.5% chance to win the game.

South Africa, has been recorded at a 35.2% chance.

“Despite the elimination of the likes of Egypt, Morocco, Senegal, Algeria, and Cameroon, neither of these two are considered mong the favorites to win the whole tournament, with a less than 10% chance each,” the website added.
