Morocco has frequently renewed concerns about the situation in Palestine, which has been under a devastating war launched by the Israeli Occupation Forces since October 7.
In response to the ongoing Israeli aggression, the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Israeli occupation forces’ devastating war against civilians is against international humanitarian law and shared human values.
Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita conveyed these concerns in a phone call on February 12, with Hussein Al Sheikh, Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
Morocco also condemned the “ineffectiveness of influential countries” in putting an end to the devastating situation in Gaza.
Since Israel’s war on Gaza began, several large-scale demonstrations in the North African kingdom have called for the end of bilateral ties with Israel.
