In an interview with Morocco World News on the sidelines of the inauguration, Nezha Sefrioui, General Manager and the first Moroccan audiologist, highlighted the significance of the occasion, stating, “This World Hearing Day is significant as it raises awareness for early diagnosis among hearing care professionals.”
Sefrioui’s remarks underscored the vital role of events such as this in fostering dialogue and cooperation among professionals dedicated to auditory healthcare.

“According to the WHO, there are nearly 700 million people worldwide in need of hearing aids, including 34 million children. The need is widespread globally, especially in developing countries,” Sefrioui emphasized.
