Rabat – Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue their relentless campaign, with the devastating war leading to an alarming increase in the number of civilians being killed since October 7 in Gaza.
According to new data from the Health Ministry in Gaza, the death toll has risen to 32,552 as of today, while the number of injured victims has increased to 74,980 people since October 7.
In the past 24-hour period, Israel also killed 62 civilians while 91 others were injured.
The ongoing relentless campaign comes amid the international community’s failure to pressure Israel to end its devastating war on Palestinians despite the adoption of a UN resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire for the month of Ramadan.
Regardless of the mandate, the IOF is still engaged in mass killings of Palestinians as well as the destruction of residential homes and agricultural land across Gaza, including Rafah.
“Israeli forces have continued their attacks in and around al-Shifa Hospital. They are not only causing a great deal of damage to the medical complex but systematically destroying homes in the area,” a correspondent for Al Jazeera said.
NGOs and human rights activists continue to raise awareness about the catastrophic and tragic situation in Gaza, demanding that Israel should be held accountable for war crimes.
The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has joined the chorus of statements condemning IOF’s relentless campaigns and accused it of directly shooting at and executing 13 children in and near al-Shifa Hospital in one week.
Quoted by Al Jazeera today, the monitoring group said that some of the deadly shootings took place as “victims’ families were inside their homes amid Israel’s continuing raid on al-Shifa, and others while the victims were attempting to escape via routes designated as safe.”
