Fez– A student from Agadir has achieved the highest score in the Souss-Massa region in Morocco’s 2026 baccalaureate examinations, earning praise from her family and school for years of hard work and dedication.
Rihana Rghibi, a student at the private Al Qalam School in Agadir, obtained an impressive average score of 19.56 out of 20 in Physical Sciences, French option.
The result placed her first among all students in the region under the Souss-Massa Regional Academy of Education and Training and earned her the highest distinction, “Très Bien”.
For her family, the achievement is the result of years of effort and perseverance. Speaking to local media, her mother, Fatima Aït Addi, expressed her joy and pride after the results were announced.
She said her daughter’s success was built on years of serious work, supported by her family, teachers, school administrators and all those involved in her educational journey.
Fatima Aït Addi thanked everyone who contributed to her daughter’s success, praising Rihana’s discipline and commitment throughout her studies.
She added that this achievement is only the beginning of what she hopes will be a future filled with academic and professional accomplishments.
The school’s management also celebrated the student’s outstanding performance.
Nezha Tassine, director general of Al Qalam schools in Agadir and Tangier, congratulated Rihana, her family and the teaching and administrative staff who accompanied her throughout her studies.
Tassine described the result as a collective achievement that reflects the efforts of the entire institution.
She thanked all those involved and said the success highlights the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
The announcement comes as Morocco celebrates the results of the June 2026 baccalaureate session, which recorded a national pass rate of 64.8 percent.
