Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology is expecting rainy days in several provinces across the country on Saturday and Sunday.
For Saturday, the weather authority anticipates rainfall across Tangier, Rif, Saiss, the Phosphate Plateau, Essaouira, and the Atlas Mountains regions.
Various levels of rainfall are anticipated in the southernmost regions of the country, with relatively cold weather expected in the Atlas Mountains during mornings and nights.
Additionally, strong winds, coupled with localized dust dispersion, are forecasted for the southern regions, the High Atlas, the Anti-Atlas, and their adjacent areas to the west.
Minimum temperatures will range from 01 to 07 degrees in the Atlas and the Rif regions, and from 06 to 09 degrees in the phosphate plateau and Oulmes, as well as in the high eastern plateau.
In the southern regions, the minimum temperature will be between 16 and 22 degrees, while in the rest of the country it will be between 9 and 15 degrees.
In terms of the upper temperatures, we can anticipate a gradual decline in degrees as time progresses, suggesting a cooling trend that may persist over the coming days.
Sea conditions are forecasted to range from moderate to slight roughness in the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, along the Atlantic coasts, conditions will vary from slight to rough seas. Particularly in the afternoon, between Larache and Cap Ghir, sea conditions may intensify to rough.
As far as maximum temperatures are concerned, the General Directorate expects a gradual decrease over time, indicating a cooling trend that could continue in the coming days.
