GITEX Africa Explores AI’s Crucial Role in Emergency Response Management

Rabat – AI continued to be the focus of today’s GITEX Africa 2024 panels and discussions, this time with Adel Alsharji, Chief Operating Officer at Presight, dedicating his keynote address to exploring the critical role of AI and big data in emergency response management.

Highlighting the need for countries to adopt time-sensitive strategies to deal with natural disasters effectively, Alsharji presented the case of a storm that ravaged the UAE as a prominent example of how AI can help predict and accelerate response to emergencies.
