Rabat – The Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP) kicked off the 27th edition of its annual EHTP-Entreprises Forum yesterday, May 7th. The three-day event, held under the theme “Rebuilding the High Atlas: Rise of Moroccan Engineering Based on Innovation, Sustainability, and Solidarity”, brings together students, EHTP graduates, and leading companies from across Morocco and the region.

The opening panel discussion featured an esteemed lineup of speakers, including Mustapha Fares; Secretary General of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, Youssef Hosni; Secretary General of the Ministry of National Land Use and Urban Planning, Housni El Ghazaoui; CEO of Omrane, Abdallah Nassif; Governor of Natural Risk Management at the Ministry of Interior, Nabil Benazzouz; President of the FMCI Federation. EHTP professor Atar Dialmi was also present alongside Amine Laghidi, who is an international expert on foreign trade and economic diplomacy.

The panelists shared a common vision of how Moroccans can achieve great things through collaboration, highlighting the country’s spirit of solidarity and the term “tamgharbit” – the idea that Moroccans will always come to each other’s aid, no matter the circumstances. They emphasized the crucial role of engineers and the public in rebuilding the High Atlas region following the devastating Al-Haouz earthquake in September of 2023.

As a major recruitment event in Morocco, the EHTP-Entreprises Forum provides a platform for exchange between students, EHTP graduates, and the most prestigious companies in the country. For this edition, the forum will focus on the reconstruction of the High Atlas, with participating companies presenting their projects and initiatives aimed at contributing to the region’s amelioration and increased resilience.

Students and young graduates will have the opportunity to interact with professionals from different sectors, discover career prospects in these fields, and showcase the potential and skills of Moroccan engineers from various schools. The event will feature a rich program of activities, including company presentations, workshops, coaching sessions, and conferences led by renowned experts.

The EHTP-Entreprises Forum remains a must-attend event for those seeking internships, job opportunities, and valuable professional connections. It is a chance for participants to step out of their comfort zones and engage with the broader professional community.
