Rabat – Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have killed at least 60 civilians in four new massacres in the past 24 hours, targeting civilians.
Medical sources said that the massacres also resulted in the injury of 220 people in Gaza.
Palestinian news agency Wafa said that the latest casualties made the Gaza death toll jump to 36,439 since October 7.
Injured victims have reached 82,627.
The majority of victims are women and children, local medical authorities confirmed.
“Ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense teams,” Wafa said.
In addition to its systematic massacres, the occupation forces continue to arrest many Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
According to Al Jazeera, the forces arrested at least 10 people, including a minor and several former prisoners.
The arrests took place in several areas, including Jenin, Herbon, Bethlehem and Nablus.
Since October 7, the IOF has killed 8,895 Palestinians in the occupied region.
The arrests and massacres come amid a devastating situation marked by the collapse of the health system in the besieged enclave of Gaza and malnutrition due to Israeli blockade.
The World Health Organization admitted that only 14 out of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are partially functional.
