Rabat – The USMNT is gearing up for a crucial Copa America 2024 Group C encounter against Panama at Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta, today at 11 p.m. GMT+1.

With both teams looking to gain momentum early in the tournament, the stakes are high as they prepare to renew their rivalry on the international stage.

This matchup marks the first meeting between the US and Panama since their exciting 1-1 draw in the Concacaf Gold Cup last year, a result that underlined the competitive nature of their encounters.

Following the initial round of group stage matches, the USMNT find themselves alongside Uruguay at the summit of Group C, reinforcing their status as favorites to advance.

The USMNT enter this game with confidence following a convincing 2-0 victory over Bolivia in their opening fixture of the Copa America, showcasing their prowess and determination on the pitch.

A victory against Panama would not only maintain their perfect record but also guarantee their progression to the knockout stages with a game to spare.

Uruguay, their nearest rivals in the group, are set to face Bolivia in a simultaneous fixture.

Should both the US and Uruguay secure victories, they will both clinch their quarter-final berths ahead of their anticipated showdown later in the group stage.

For Panama, however, the situation is increasingly dire after their disappointing 3-1 defeat to Uruguay in their opening Copa America match.

They now face a must-win scenario against the USMNT to keep their hopes alive in the competition, as anything less than a draw would mean a premature exit from the tournament.

However, they face a daunting challenge against a USMNT squad that has shown defensive solidity and attacking flair in recent outings.

As anticipation builds for the kickoff, all eyes will be on Mercedes-Benz stadium to witness whether the USMNT can maintain their winning momentum and secure their passage to the quarter-finals.

With their sights set firmly on advancing in Copa America 2024, the Stars and Stripes are poised to deliver a compelling performance against Panama.
