Rabat – Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have continued their merciless campaign targeting civilians across Gaza since October 7.
In the past 24 hours, IOF have killed at least 55 civilians while 123 others were injured.
Palestinian news agency Wafa said today that the number of fatalities since the IOF started its massacres on October 7 reached 38,153 victims.
An additional 87,828 individuals have sustained injuries, the majority of these victims being women and children.
“Ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave,” Wafa reported.
The news outlet added that, to make matters worse, the IOF continues to obstruct rescuers’ efforts.
Earlier today, Al Jazeera cited reports of artillery shelling and intense gunfire from Israeli tanks being observed Gaza’s Rafah city.
Israel’s merciless campaign has continued to exacerbate the devastating situation in Gaza.
On it’s X platform, UNRWA said on Saturday that children in Gaza can spend six to eight hours a day collecting water and food, “often carrying heavy weights and walking long distances.”
“Sanitation facilities & infrastructure are severely compromised, facing thousands of families who rely on seawater to wash, clean & even drink,” UNRWA said.
