The event took place in Butler, Pennsylvania around hundreds of supporters.
The unsettling incident sent attendees into a state of panic as the sound of what appeared to be gunfire echoed through the venue.

Videos of the incident showed Trump sustaining an injury in one of his ears.
Authorities said that security measures were taken and that Trump is safe now. According to spokesperson Steven Cheung, the Republican candidate said “he was fine,” after being whisked away.
Post injury, Trump stood up and made a defiant gesture to show that he is still committed as part of his election campaign.7
